Our Curriculum
Our Fetcham Village Infant School Curriculum Statement
Learning together, doing our best - being kind!
In order to provide children at Fetcham Village Infant School with memorable learning experiences, we supplement the statutory requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the National Curriculum with our own school principles, CLOVER.
We want the very best outcomes for every child and for them to be equipped with the skills and attributes to be happy, healthy, active and responsible citizens within our society.
We highly value the importance of reading and communication and believe that they are a gateway to success in later life. Therefore, we place these at the heart of our curriculum.
We promote inclusion within our school by recognising and celebrating each child’s uniqueness. We value children’s individual skills, strengths and needs, in order to give them the foundations to develop a life-long love of learning. We ensure that all aspects of our curriculum are available to all children, irrespective of their disability, gender, ethnic or religious background.
